Question: CSX units on BNSF Grain Trains

I have noticed that there are a lot of CSX units on BNSF grain trains destined for the west coast. Are these units on some kind of lease or assignment? They are a long way from home rails.

Just paying back hours, there's a lot of BNSF stuff in strange places these days as well.

yup....i saw many BNSF units on both NS and CSX on a recent trip to the east coast, especially on oil trains and intermodal trains. not nearly as many UP.

It goes both ways, there's been solid NS consists on the BNSF Sioux City sub hauling
unit ethanol trains East.
