where does the bnsf change crews between richomd, ca and Bakersfield?

are their any "long pools" that run between these 2 points?

what trains typically work fresno?

Fresno was the crew change. May or may not have put a long pool in. I haven't looked in a while. Had one for a short time using the UP but it didn't last long and they went back to BNSF tracks and the short pools.

Was told there is a long pool between Bakersfield and Stockton now in operation so I don't know where Calwa comes into the picture. I'm assuming the Richmond-Calwa and Calwa-Bakersfield pools are still in effect for manifest traffic.

At one time there was a Fesno-Barstow IM pool, the 991/199 ran in this pool.

Was that ATSF or BNSF? Never heard of that one, just the current Bakersfield-Needles pool for the Z trains.

That Fresno-Barstow run would certainly have made for a long day at the 'office.'

That as an ATSF pool, that became the Bakersfield/Needles pool under BNSF.

Calwa-Fresno is the T&E crew base and work to and Bakersfield and work to and from Richmond along with the Richmond based crews worked to and from Fresno.

That would have had to have been an interdivisional pool with mileage equity shared by the Valley Division (Richmond-Bakersfield) and the Old Arizona Division (Bakersfield-Needles). So, where was the home terminal(s) located?
