Western Railroad Discussion > KCS-CP-and UP 9910Date: 11/26/14 17:49 KCS-CP-and UP 9910 Author: DRGW Today was a very interesting day to be trackside around Southern California as several trains had interesting power. First up was BNSF's first Oil train running to the new facility at Levee just west of Bakersfield that had KCS power in the lead.
1. KCS 4780 leads the train under the signal bridge at Daggett on the BNSF Needles Sub. 2. The trains DPU's 3. Pulling ahead adding the mid train DPU's at Barstow. Date: 11/26/14 17:51 Re: KCS-CP-and UP 9910 Author: DRGW Next up was a westbound harbor bound stack train with CP 9510 as the east facing DPU.
4. Daggett 5. East Barstow 6. Now on the Cajon Sub between Silverwood and Summit. Date: 11/26/14 17:53 Re: KCS-CP-and UP 9910 Author: DRGW Lastly a nice surprise was thrown our way with UP SD59MX 9910 leading a Yermo to Long Beach baretable. This unit looked great and what we ended up following back home.
7. West Barstow 8. Hodge 9. Summit Date: 11/26/14 17:54 Re: KCS-CP-and UP 9910 Author: DRGW Date: 11/26/14 18:08 Re: KCS-CP-and UP 9910 Author: oilcan Truly a banner week for you and your camera my friend. Awesome catches and shots!
