Western Railroad Discussion > Crossing the 'T'Date: 11/27/14 09:41 Crossing the 'T' Author: dendavis If one will allow an old battleship maneuver term.
Taken 11/22/14 just east of Barstow, where the UP and BNSF merge (or diverge, depending on the direction). Grab shot from I-40, high winds made a lot of light scatter in the atmosphere. Date: 11/27/14 12:46 Re: Crossing the 'T' Author: Seventyfive I haven't been to Barstow in 20 years; am wondering what the buildings with the tall water tower are. Is that runways near the right side of the photo back there? Thanks for the shot; always nice to see photos from Barstow and nearby.

No runways there, just a helipad. All fixed wing traffic goes to Barstow-Dagget Airport. Date: 11/27/14 17:13 Re: Crossing the 'T' Author: oklachaser Neat shot.
Ronda Thomas Date: 11/27/14 18:40 Re: Crossing the 'T' Author: JimBaker The Junction in the foreground would be Daggett.
