top: With a hundred CP units on lease they were bound to end up leading as this one lead a solid JB Hunt empty container train throught the siding at Monument. middle: Quite a few new units were received by BNSF this year but the 8100's were very rare on the Joint Line as this one was leading a southbound at the "sag" a couple miles north of Palmer Lake. bottoom: The twice a week BNSF Pikes Peak Local also continued to offer variety as it was climbing north toward Palmer Lake. Thanks for looking back, it has truly been a good year along the Joint Line. JB Edited 2 time(s). Last edit at 12/22/14 07:45 by 3rdswitch. Date: 12/22/14 10:29 Re: last few 2014 Joint Line . . . Author: oklachaser Really nice selection JB. #3 really sets the mood for the winter season even though it was a spring snow.
