Saturday, January 24, 2015 was a good day for trains at Union Station in Little Rock, Arkansas. A highlight was red and white locomotive CEFX 6007, one of 7 roadnames today. Also of note: GTW Grand Trunk Western hycube boxcar, a boy with a fishing pole, an inside shot at the Capital Hotel, CCX 949 Columbian Chemical Company hopper, HS 30121 ex-Valdosta Southern Railroad Company boxcar, an empty bottle of Jack Daniels in the ballast, line of green BN hoppers, visitors from Michigan and New York City, bird on a milepost marker, night shot of a streetcar in North Little Rock.

1-CEFX 6007 passing Union Station Little Rock Saturday January 24, 2015 northbound, part of a BNSF train.
2-FXE-Ferromex 4692 on the Little Rock Amtrak siding heading north on January 24. I was sitting on my lawn chair, so I got the up close and personal shots.
3-Colorful consist passing the station Jan 24, led by NS 8139, followed by UP 9219, KCS 4816 and UP 3761, 10:45 a.m. northbound.

When NS returned the UP C40-8's they had leased, I figured that fleet would be parked for good. The pics I see of them remind me of the woebegone UP U30C's that I saw on CSX in 1989-90. Looks like you had a great day!
