In the continuing re-shuffle of oil infrastructure, pipeline operator Kinder Morgan will sell 31 mostly rail terminals to local operator Watco companies. Watco operates its own network of local terminal providing rail to truck, pipeline to rail etc crude oil facilities. Watco also operates several facilities which maintain and repair crude oil tank cars.

Kinder Morgan recently purchased a new pipeline from the Bakken region to existing terminals in Wyoming and Colorado. The drop in crude oil prices has stressed many terminals, drillers, and suppliers.
