La Crosse Work Window
Author: pyroman

Grabbed a few shots at on the way to the office this morning just as crews were starting to fire up the engines and get rolling.

One the way home tonight stopped by Forest Hills and they have bridge for main 1 in place, no track yet. When I was there at 17:00 they were just starting on the bridge for future main 2.

At Graf switches are in place (Graf sign is gone) with crews working on tamping. The Hulcher Force was heading back to the fort with their sidebooms and excavator, no sign of prisoners.

Image #1 looks north, switch #4 for the future main 2 not built yet. Image #2 looks south toward Ward Ave (rrartist and pyroman territory)

But wait there is more action. Genoa CP also has its switches in place on Main 2.

Should have bought some Cat stock!

Yes, Movable frog. I hear the turnouts are supposed to be good for 60mph.

Peter Thompson of the Tribune must be a closet ferroequinologist!
