. . . few flares taken only last year on the Arizona and California Railroad that operates approx. 200 miles of ex Santa Fe track as a middle man to BNSF Phoenix California traffic. The railroad "normally" operates eastbound from Cadiz, CA to Castle Hot Springs, AZ Mon - Sat and westbound Castle Hot Springs, AZ to Cadiz, CA Sun-Fri with Sat mornings westbound sitting at Parker until Sun afternoon. They also run additional trains for BNSF with BNSF power at various times. AZRC's westbound train 708 was passing through Wenden, AZ in Jan '14 (top) and  a month later various power was on hand at the Parker, AZ operations center and only facility (middle and bottom).

Nice photos!  They used to arrive Cadiz around noon.  Do they still have the same schedule?

The 4000s have been around for a while, here's 4003 back in 2002 shortly after arriving
on the line having a turbo changed out at the Parker engine facility.

Schedule changed a few years ago now they don't leave Parker until early afternoon arriving Cadiz sixish?
