Western Railroad Discussion > Strange Locos on Stack train in PomonaDate: 03/20/15 10:32 Strange Locos on Stack train in Pomona Author: engrbill47 While I was being transported from a failed CA DMV visit last Tuesday at around 2:30 ish, I happened to see an unusual locomotive combination on an east bound stack train just east of the Pomona station. The line up was Norfolk Southern, CSX, Norfolk Southern, CSX. No UP power. And my smart phone was in my pocket and was too new to figure out the camera and get a photo. I know about power sharing, but I did not know that the UP trackage would allow a non UP locomotive at the head end.
