Date: 03/21/15 20:25 Re: Sonoma Marin Area Rail Transit Cars in Iowa Author: PHall Those would probably work for some of Metrolink's lighter services like the LA to Burbank Airport shuttle and the Fullerton - Laguna Nigel service.

Date: 03/21/15 21:33 Re: Sonoma Marin Area Rail Transit Cars in Iowa Author: atsf121 So are these DMU's? If so, can they run with freight trains or are they like the ones on the Oceanside, CA Sprinter line that have to run time separated from freight.
They look nice, thanks for posting photos. Nathan Date: 03/21/15 22:45 Re: Sonoma Marin Area Rail Transit Cars in Iowa Author: CDTX They are heavy rail, FRA crashworthyness compliant DMU's.

Engines are under the floor with the radiator on the roof, just like an RDC. Date: 03/22/15 11:18 Re: Sonoma Marin Area Rail Transit Cars in Iowa Author: tehachapifan Those are nice looking! Thought they were going to be a little more odd looking per some renderings I've seen.
