Nice Shot! Looking towards Siberia, Klondike is off to the left.  Always enjoy your post.

Def. looks like the east end of Ash Hill. Neat angles!

Ash Hill has a wye track from the steam train days.
I do not believe it is Cadiz.
Google Map these coordinates and see for yourself :
34.703518,-116.06027

You can also see two big trucks traveling on the 40 Freeway so it is Ash Hill on the Needles District ATSF.
Cadiz is pretty far from Ash Hill so you would not get a close up view from this location.
