Western Railroad Discussion > Blue Cut, CA (Cajon Pass) Action

This clip features some heavy late-afternoon action at Blue Cut along BNSF's Cajon Sub and UP's Mojave Sub/Palmdale Cutoff.

It begins with an eastbound BNSF Q train heading up Main 2.  Meanwhile, a westbound BNSF Z trains rolls down Main 3.

Next eastbound BNSF S and Q trains race uphill.

As soon as those two trains clear-out, an uphill northbound UP manifest is seen up on the Palmdale Cutoff.  At the same time, a downhill westbound UP K train passes by on the BNSF.
