A BNSF Railway tank train on U.P. Parsons Sub.
Author: JoCoLB

I photographed this southbound 2x1 BNSF Railway unit tank train on the Union Pacific Railroad's Parsons Sub. (former Missour-Kansas-Texas route) about 9:40 a.m. today, 7 miles south of Paola, Kan., next to the intersection of West 347th St. and Lookout Road. All of the cars appeared to be fairly new with MVTX markings. What exactly did I photograph?

The train originated at Tampa, CO.  It interchanged to UP at Kansas City and is enroute to St. James, LA.
