Front Range Sub North of Cheyenne
Author: royalgorge

Spring is slow to come to the north end of the Front Range Subdivision between Cheyenne and Wendover, Wyoming.  The high elevation and frequent Spring storms causes nature to take its time in greening up the plains and valleys of the area.  Attached are a few shots from a quick trip to the area last Friday and Saturday.

A second northbound Lower Colorado River Authority(Texas)-FPPX empties is making its way between Horse Creek and Altus, Wyoming with 8547, 8777 and RDPU's 9238 and 6120.  Altus is the site of a short siding and one of two high points  on the line between Cheyenne and Wendover.  Foothills of the Laramie Mountains in the background.  Near MIlepost 155 Front Range Subdivision, Powder River Division  11:21 Saturday April 25, 2015
