RED CONSIST:  60 Cars = 4 Stocks, 35 Coaches, 2 COFC, 19 Flats.  (Total 256 axles less assigned road power)
 
RUCT Tentative Projected Schedule.  Routings and Times are made in advance and are Subject to Change without notice.  As we have seen, Motive Power can be whatever is available with carrier at departure time.

NOTE:  2014 - Circus train sitting parked behind the (Union) Plaza Hotel.  Flats start at West Charleston Blvd Overpass with one long line including COFC’s and Coaches which ends at the switch just before Las Vegas Expressway overpass.

Power: UP 5873 looks like it's one of the units for power (Can anyone confirm that?).
Train: SCSLV-08
ETD (Colorado Springs): 9:00AM (6/8)
ETA (Las Vegas): 5:30PM (6/10)

Latest is 12:35 departure

Looks like the UP5873 as the leader and the UP3884. Hasn't departed yet as of 945am pst.

Now scheduled to depart the Springs at 14:30. I wouldn't be surprised at all by that, because the flatcar end of the train is still down at Kelker and passenger car end of the train is still in the mini siding near the Bijou crossover (as of 11:30). Furthermore, UP 3884 is sitting in the yard doing nothing, and UP 5873 is nowhere to be seen. Per UP Trace UP 4978 will be with the train as well until they get to North Yard, where it will be set out. No sign of that unit either.

Just curious, how does the train get assembled? Do the flats get pulled up to the springs, or do they get pushed to the springs, coupled on to the rest of the cars and pulled out of the mini siding?

Heard through the grapevine that there has been another crew called for 1pm mst for the train.

The flats have been pulled up to the Springs by UP 5873 & 4978 as of 12:35.

Train just got a fresh crew as of 14:20. They still need to pick up the passenger cars, so it's still going to be a while before they depart the Springs.

Possibly leaving around 3:50PM. Can anyone confirm this?

I can confirm that it will be departing much later than that. Probably sometime around 4:30 pm, if not later.

Any idea what the delay is?
