BNSF along the Front Range
Author: es44fan

I spent yesterday morning on the Front Range Subdivision in Louisville hoping to catch a train or two and lucked out with some nice catches. After hearing that two southbounds were heading towards Broomfield, I started up at the new apartment complex by South Boulder Road. Unfortunately, one of the two southbounds had already passed but I still got the second which had a BN SD60M on the train. From there, I moved to south of town for a northbound which had a warbonnet leader, making for a very nice day even with the warm weather starting to move in.

1: BNSF 7312 leads a southbound freight approaching Louisville, CO.
2: A shot of 7312 as it passes with Longs Peak in the Background.
3: Nice to see a BN SD60M in the consist.

There's more...

Nice quartet, my favorites are two and four.  That last shot shows great composition.  Thanks for sharing.
