Western Railroad Discussion > Holding at Cedar Lake JunctionDate: 06/30/15 07:11 Holding at Cedar Lake Junction Author: syscom3 I'm out in Minneapolis and had a great time exploring the long abandoned Cedar Lake yard (Ex Great Northern and ex-CNW which was prior to 1962, M&SL). This yard was converted to a public bikeway and pedestrian path. All of it. Only the single main for the Wazata Sub remains, which is what this train is on.
I found a nice spot that shows the skyline and where the junction is for the whatever railroad uses the ex-CNW line. I have lots more to show, which I will do when I get home and process them. I was wondering what it looks like these days.
