Western Railroad Discussion > Happy 4th from Sapulpa, OK...Date: 07/04/15 06:29 Happy 4th from Sapulpa, OK... Author: oklachaser Happy Birthday America!
Last year I found this little engine sitting across the street from the TSU shop in Sapulpa, OK. A year later it is still sitting there. I don't know what they are planning to do with it but I thought I would post it today since it is red, white & blue. Photos taken July 28, 2014. Photo 1: AEX-MSRX 100009. Photo 2: AEX-MSRX 100009 & TSU 109. Thanks for looking. Ronda Thomas Date: 07/04/15 07:54 Re: Happy 4th from Sapulpa, OK... Author: tomstp That's gotta be the highest numbered engine I have seen or heard of.

Author: santafe199 Getting back the USA birthday/4th of July theme, I remember being very amused, in a good way at all of the smaller short line RRs and even industrail RRs that painted up in R/W/B. I remember seeing a photo roster somewhere (Trains mag?) of many [if not all] of the patriotic paint schemes running around at the time. It was a really cool time to be an American & a railfan. Nice find, Ronda!
