UP-1995 Leaving the Las Vegas Valley behind
Author: RustyRayls

Thanks to "SP8595" for the heads-up!! I caught the MWCRO, with the CNW Heritage unit on the point, climbing the hill up to Apex Summit at MP-351. If they had got to my location 2 hours sooner the light would have been a little better. As it was, they went through with the sun almost directly overhead. The UP-1995 was looking pretty good but the rest of the power was looking pretty shabby! I know that locomotives don't make no money on the wash rack, but DAMN!!!!! I've been shooting Red Flag out at Nellis AFB for the last 2 weeks ( about 2000 images & 82 "keepers" so far ), got 1 more week left so I'm going to try something different this week.

I dig Apex, no matter the lighting. Hoping to catch the 1995 in Utah tomorrow morning if things go as planned.

So anything interesting at Red Flag like maybe a Mig 29?

OK is it just me or does it look like they gave 1995 a brand new coat of paint because her plow is way too clean and shiny to look like she's still had the same paint for 9 years.
