Western Railroad Discussion > Return trip to Fort Worth - FWWR

I caught myself a very short FWWR train as it was headed back to Fort Worth with a few sand cars in tow. When I first saw this train, it was power only. Watched them switch and back up towards the Caporal factory here in Stephenville. Took a shot of them hooking up to the cars then left to go get set up in a place I've always wanted to take a picture from. Reached my destination under the US Highway 281 bridge and waited for what seemed like an eternity in the 95+ degree heat. Finally I heard the engines followed by a horn blast or two. Got a friendly wave as they passed by. I wish things could have worked out for the better and not have everything back lit but you take what you can get.
