Western Railroad Discussion > FSRR C30-7 #9629Date: 08/02/15 19:54 FSRR C30-7 #9629 Author: RCPE_Hogger After seeing this locomotive on my train, and another one, I got to thinking, who leased this locomotive? When was it built, and what is its history? I hope it stays on our property for a while, I really enjoy seeing and listening to it! I will take some pictures when I get a chance.

Out Date: 08/03/15 10:41 Re: FSRR C30-7 #9629 Author: RCPE_Hogger I can tell you for a fact it's still running, but barely. And it's cab is in disrepair and nasty. But it's still running. Like I said, I don't know how long it will be on our property. I'm waiting for it to come back East so I can take pictures inside and out.

there's probably not all that many in Mexico either. Guess the couple are still out back in BNSF Alliance. Out Date: 08/03/15 16:42 Re: FSRR C30-7 #9629 Author: RCPE_Hogger I was very surprised it came onto our property from the CP. Every instruction was in Spanish, but I had an idea where everything is. The cab was filthy, seats all torn, engine room had oil on the floor, that thing was a mess. It was good nontheless to see a C30-7 in active service, one of my favorite classics.

Like most of the fnm locomotives, it had that scheme that had 2 shades of blue, one shade of orange with that scheme, it received ferrosur in December 1998, its original nose was damaged in an accident and therefore it was replaced with the nose of another C30-7.
