It was a nice partly cloudy day in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Lakeside Sub with a high-low of 70-47. The skys have provided some nice clouds and BNSF has provided steady traffic thru the backyard. Today has been busy with lots of Orange and a leaser and Warbonnet here and there. There has been lots of Orange that I did not shoot due to other activities. Here are some of the trains that rolled thru the backyard and beyond yesterday afternoon-evening and today so far. There has been a big influx of stack/intermodal/TOFC traffic lately.

1. EB 501pm manifest train with BNSF 7335-8364 on the point.
2. The End of same train fading away towards downtown Ritzville.
3. Thunderstorm just East of the backyard.

4. EB 513pm manifest train with BNSF 5???-5180-7830-6642 on the pull with a friendly toot-toot from the hogger.
5. EB 522pm grain train with BNSF 5150-5338 on the point, no DPU and a friendly toot-toot from the hogger.
6. Older hopper from Klemme, Iowa rolling in same train.

Nice look at everything today.  I like the new angles in #2-17 & 22 especially. Back in the 70s I remember seeing solid trains of those pinkish covered hoppers from Iowa.
