PHL Picture from The World's Worst Railfan Photographer
Author: SoCalCynic

I now work in west Long Beach, and am tormented every time I step out of the office door by a train horn (tormented by not being able to immediately chase the train sounding the horn in question).  I am most curious about the Pacific Harbor Line, and found that I get a view of the PHL yard when I visit my new stop for clam chowder, The Chowder Barge (located off Henry Ford Avenue, in the Leeward Slip Marina in Wilmington).

This picture is from Thursday, September 10th.

You're gonna need a bigger lens! (Apologies to Roy Scheider).

Not bad, you captured well what one would have seen from that spot without the benefit of a long zoom lens.
