BN Green still popular in the PNW
Author: lamta_jay

Just like Santa Fe Warbonnet GP60M's are in So Cal.

We here between Seattle and Tacoma still see a fair number of
engines in Cascade Green. SD60M, GP38-2,  GP39 and GP40's even some old GP35's called GP39v's

This is the daily train that picks up empty auto racks at Orilla Yard in Kent/Tukwila.

both are SD60M's BNSF 1441 and PRSX 8119 taken in August

Thanks for looking

Jay

Same up at Delta Yard in Everett, Jay.  Lots of BN green still running around.  This morning, I even saw a mixed merchandise train with a trash doublestack block northbound at the Anchor Pub on Hewitt Ave. crossing the bridge with a BN Cascade Green caboose on the tail end...maybe because of the thick fog.  I believe the number was something like BN 12514 or some such.

It'll be a sad day when the last unit in Cascade Green is painted.
