Western Railroad Discussion > SD40-2 Quartet Sunset - Pierre, SDDate: 10/08/15 18:32 SD40-2 Quartet Sunset - Pierre, SD Author: RCPE_Hogger An Eastbound loaded Rapid City Pierre & Eastern train MRCHU-07 (Manifest, Rapid City to Huron) sits idle on the main between the switches of Pierre Siding as it waits for a crew to take it to Huron. The trains crew will start in Huron, taking a West train to Pierre, tie it down in the siding, hop on this Eastbound and take it to Huron. Pictures taken during Sunset today October 8th 2015 approximately 8pm. The elevator in the background belongs to CHS Midwest Elevator, who has a SW1000 and a former DMIR SaD9 for switchers.
