Morning folks, just got back from a week of railfanning the Montana Rail Link. BIG SKY COUNTRY!!!! My 12th year of fanning the famous blue & black team from Montana.

Got to taste a little bit of every season's weather in the space of just seven days it seems. Sunny skies and temps in the low 80s at the beginning or October, dipping down to the mid 20s with clouds and snow in the higher hills and mountain passes just a couple days later. Gotta love fall... Here is a little teaser of the week's fanning adventures to wet your appetite. Some 1100 images and videos are still being uploaded to the computer's hard drive for archiving and presentation in the days and weeks to come. Stay tuned...

Great photos!  I am leaving for the MRL tomorrow morning for a week!  Can't wait as I am driving the MRL from Sandpoint, ID all the way to Billings.  Got lots of goals for this trip too.  I've been working this stretch since 1981, that's 34 years!  Of course that includes before MRL too.  Never get tired of it!
