Everyone here in LAS is bundled up against the 'cold'.  But skies are clear today and I captured this while shooting aircraft at Nellis AFB.  Leaving Las Vegas.  500mm Sigma lens.  Looks pretty sharp until re-sizing takes its toll.

Looks good to me... I wouldn't try to read tail numbers on the planes on the ground at Nellis AFB.

What a creative angle to make this picture from!  You get an A+ for imagination and using all of those 500mm's correctly!

Really nice thing about Vegas is that you can take photos like these almost any day, with only minutes seperating locations and subjects.

Credit for the Apex photo goes partially to Vegasrails, here on T.O.  He posted a similar photo, albiet in the evening light, a few days back.  Gave me the idea, for sure.
