UP local in Santa Fe Springs (Los Nietos) CA

While watching trains along the BNSF in Santa Fe Springs, through luck of timing an eastbound UP train came by, crossing the BNSF diamond.
The first 2 pics show the train crossing Norwalk Blvd.; the 3rd shows it crossing the triple track BNSF.  This UP line was originally a PE route.

Is the PE substation building still standing east of this crossing?

Re: substation - I don't know; I didn't know where it was located.  I'll search for it next time I'm in the area...the Railroad Station Historical Society's website lists it being in place, field checked in 11/09, but with the tracks "gone".

Bob,

Yes, the Los Nietos PESubstation is still there. I believe it is fenced in now..
If you look directly north up Norealk Blvd. in the grade crossing photos, you will see my neighborhood up on the hill in the background.
