Unusually Light Traffic On The BNSF Lakeside Sub
Author: Ritzville

It's been a cloudy day with rain overnight in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Lakeside Sub with a high-low of 63-47 and .50 of rain. It was an unusually quiet traffic day for a Saturday with only 13 trains since 1259am. From 6am to 12noon there were no trains due to a work window. Probably will be busy all night. Here are some of the few trains that rolled by today.

1. EB 1258pm "Z" train with BNSF 9029 on the very point at Bauman Rd., Ritzville.
2. The End of Same "Z" fading away towards CP W. Tokio.
3. EB 123pm stack train with BNSF 6016on the very point with DPU's at Bauman Rd.

Larry,

There is a absolute 14 hour work window at Sunset Jct. as they replace the 10mph switches there..

Last Monday we went to Spokane from Kennewick and counted six trains, three each way between Paha and Keystone. Lots of action that day. The Stampede by our house has been quiet too. Not much happening.

Nice stuff.  I don't see how you get anything done during the day haha.  The caboose/semaphore/depot shots are appreciated.
