Western Railroad Discussion > New Laurel MT YardDate: 05/21/16 19:20 New Laurel MT Yard Author: HaggisKennedy Last year, I asked a question about the new yard being put in west of Laurel MT and got some good answers. I went by there again today, and there doesn't seem to be much there. Looks like one siding with concrete ties and that's about it. There are some cars stored on it, but nothing seems to indicate it's being used to inspect or fuel trains there. In fact, it looks like the graded areas have something put on it but not paving; it looks like just grass. I didn't even see a building.
Did they decide to not put that small yard there? Or is that supposed to be it? There wasn't anything going on there today. Kennedy Date: 05/21/16 21:58 Re: New Laurel MT Yard Author: Pacific5th With the lack of traffic I bet they put it on hold.
