1) Looking south on the new grade for Main 3 from where the northbound signal for CP Tukwila used to be. The new NBCS CP Tukwila is a cantilever on the south side of the I-405 overpass. The retaining wall in the shadows is nearing completion. 2) Looking north at CP Tukwila and the northbound signal for Black River. The #24 crossover in the foreground was recently replaced. This crossover was originally installed during the initial Sounder construction and now features swing nose frogs. The #24 on the Main 3 grade is built in place. The one at left wil be cut in on Main 2 soon. The track at left is Union Pacific. 3) New bridge connectiong the Tukwila station to the new Main 3 grade. Edited 1 time(s). Main 3 will be built through this section. The permanent platform at right is built out of concrete.
5) Looking south from the station platform. This is the little bit of Main 3 that has been built for now. It extends from the Glacier Park Siding to this point. The roadway down to the left is where trucks and machines will access for the asphalt platform demolition.
