Western Railroad Discussion > CREX 1500's in Houston

I spotted two strings on brand new CREX 1500's at Union Pacifics Englewood Yard today. I know the first string arrived on the MASEW-19, the other I am not sure. I checked the computer and learned these units are to be interchanged with the FXE in Mexico..
​The first string was spotted in Local 1, generally used as a locomotive tie up track. The numbers were 1519, 1503, 1515, 1513, 1506, 1504. The second string was spotted on the Eastern Thouroughfare and the numbers were 1512, 1510, 1525, 1524, 1521. Does anyone know the total number of units in this order? and are all going to Mexico? Thanks.

I dont know the answers to your questions, but I can say these are ES44AC Tier 4 Credit locomotives.
