Per some people, the ballast train at La Junta is tentevitely called for 0830 after Amtrak. But of course this could change or cancel. If anyone is still determined to get it, here you go.

An update on the BNSF Ballast Train for Las Vegas, NM. Apart from a slight delay in Trinidad, they performed well from La Junta to Raton, and boy was it fun to chase.

From what I heard on the scanner, they will tie down in the siding in town, and dump ballast tomorrow morning. Couldn't get the call time, but probably 0830 (I'll update if not). dpus visible from the station. If you're looking for Freights n' Blades, tomorrow should be the day.

I'll be out there. I had planned to shoot the semaphores tomorrow while down here in the Southwest for a couple of weeks, now I have to leave Grants, NM about 4 hours earlier then planned to catch the Bonus extra move. No complaints for the early rise tomorrow!
