Date: 05/25/16 07:10 Re: KYLE Railroad in bright sunny Author: cozephyr Yes, ex-Rock Island between Goodland, Kansas, and Limon, Colorado. Here's a look back to June 8, 1997 when Kyle RR operated 5821, U30C, ex-Burlington Northern, at Goodland, Kansas.

Phil Posted from Android Date: 05/26/16 08:10 Re: KYLE Railroad in bright sunny Author: 3rdswitch Nice catch. In early sixties my wife lived in Kanorado, KS (right on the KS CO border) and once a month her and big sister would ride this route on the "Rocket" from Burlington to Denver to get braces adjusted. The schedule allowed a very early morning westbound departure from Burrville (the locals name for Burlington) to Denver, a bus ride to dentist, lunch at Rexall drug then back to Denver US and Rocket back to Burlington probably at seventy nine mph as opposed to KYLE's 10 - 30 mph speed.
