Tehachapis at Tunnel 2

What a difference a month (or so) makes. On my trip up with friend "Zephyr" on April 1 the hills were getting crispy but there was still plenty of green. Fast forward to a quick overnight with my wife on May 20 and see the difference.

Nice picture. Not often do you see a BN train with empty slots.
