Author: spsniper Does anyone know anything about this boxcar or when it was originally built. We saw this on a UP train heading towards Mojave on 5/28/16. We zoomed in on the builders date and it looked like 4-56 or 4-76 but we're not sure. Thanks in advance!

Author: garr Valdosta Southern was/is a Georgia shortline that runs 10 miles between Valdosta to Clyattville, GA. This railroad now operates as Valdosta Railway and is a G&W property.

Author: spsniper I guess that explains why there are so many shortline cars from seemingly random or small roads from the 1970's, still running around with cool paint and slogans, even if it is for new owners(like this one). Now if we could just keep those taggers off of them!

The cars just change reporting marks and number periodically. |
