Western Railroad Discussion > Unrebuilt GP60MsDate: 07/29/16 07:04 Unrebuilt GP60Ms Author: rbmn5022 Going off of the posts yesterday regarding the rebuilds, I went through the remaining 22 that aren't rebuilt or pending rebuild and did a breakdown by paint. Here's what I came up with. Any corrections are very welcome. Note, only 6 "pure" ATSF warbonnets are left in service according to this.

It was a mess, but the talented Topeka Shops guys had it looking like new. It was the lead unit on a stack train that failed to stop at Lebo, Ks, and ran though the middle of a manifest train going through a 40 mph crossover in the opposite direction.

Glad I got most of these when I could, with the 106 thrown in as well from the same year, in Azusa where the Gold Line APU/Citrus Station is just to the right of the picture.
