Western Railroad Discussion > Last Night's Flash Flood in South Central KansasDate: 08/20/16 08:05 Last Night's Flash Flood in South Central Kansas Author: kansas1 Does anyone have reports on how the flash flood affected the RR's in the area? More than 7.5" fell. At times, the rainfall was coming down at a rate of 4"/hr.
Does anyone have photos of the flooding, especially if it has railroads or buildings (not a purely rural scene) in it? If so, please PM me. Thank you. It looked pretty bad with all that water. I don't know if bnsf had any low places anywhere near there though.
