Some pool power and reroute through Austin this morning

I finally got back out this morning to shoot a few trains. Location was the usual: N. Bergstrom on the UP Austin Sub. The morning started drizzly but the sun did come out then went away again. Oh well!

There are a total of 6 shots.


1. #22 coming around an empty grain train
2. GM3ALN-22 with NS 9676, UP 6875 and 8828

Next one through was a reroute from the West Coast - ILXDID-20 headed for the Dallas Intermodal facility.

3. UP 7385 leading and....
4. UP 8521 pushing

And the last 2 trains were domestic containers out of Mexico.

Glad to see you trackside Mike. I like the shot of Amtrak with the NS unit in the siding. Had about the same type of weather with cool drippy skies and a side of sun in the morning.
