Date: 09/25/16 20:45 Re: Grain train in Eugene OR 9 24 2016 Author: OregonOldGuy BNSF bnrings the trains from Seattle to Lake Yard in Portland, where UP takes over. There have been about one a week for at least a couple of months now. Soem have CN power instad of BNSF power.

There was a southbound grainer on the Oregon Trunk through Bend on Sunday afternoon and a second one today, Monday, right about 5 pm. Today's train was 4x2 for power. It's not like there isn't physical capacity to run them all on the Oregon Trunk. There must be some other reason.
