I can't find any mention on the local news sites but I checked police and fire call logs and they show multiple dispatches at 5 pm. Based on location (Roosevelt and Garfield) I suspect this happened in the yard or going around the Coos Bay Wye and was a low speed derailment. ----------------- Never mind - it finally got posted on one of the local news sites. Appears to be on the "Engine Lead", 12 cars, only load that spilled was a car of grain. https://twitter.com/KEZI9David http://nbc16.com/news/local/train-derails-in-union-pacific-eugene-yard Edited 5 time(s).
