Western Railroad Discussion > Circus Train on Soldier SummitDate: 09/28/16 08:55 Circus Train on Soldier Summit Author: GrandeGold I 'joined' the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus train for a day and loved it. I followed it east along the former D&RGW on its journey from Salt Lake City to Denver.
The train is pictured as it snakes through Spanish Fork Canyon just outside the Red Narrows. The SSCDV 27 was of the more impressive trains I've followed and photographed. If I told my parents I'd joined the circus, they'd roll their eyes and ask about the retirement plan 😜 Posted from iPhone James Belmont Salt Lake City, UT Date: 09/28/16 17:19 Re: Circus Train on Soldier Summit Author: GP30Frank As usual James, you manage to catch a freshly repainted unit ( 2, in this shot ) , or a very clean one.
