Crew Shortage out of La Grande, OR?

Local legend has it that traffic out of La Grande has been at a near standstill due to crew shortages exacerbated by detouring BNSF grain trains.  Anyone know anything about this?  Thx.

Yes...my brother is a conductor over there at the moment and says things are really busy with grain moving and light power moves, but he hasn't said anything about things standing still.  He mentioned some BNSF reroutes...like maybe one-two a day

I have seen eastbound mty BNSF grainers for a few days out of La Grande.  At least 1 per day maybe more. Odd about the crew comments; I have been thinking traffic is slow.
