A Challenging Picture Day On The BNSF
Author: Ritzville

The weather was very challenging for picture taking in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Lakeside Sub with pea soup fog and rain today. It was a high-low of 53-41 and .24 of rain and fog. The bottom line, it was just a crummy day for picture taking, but I gave it a try. Here are the catches of the day.

1. A fast grab of WB 920am grain train with CREX 1302 and BNSF 7672 on the point in the fog. I couldn't see the train in the camera, the shot was just a guess. I was a ble to filter out some of the thickness of the fog.
2. WB 932am intermodal train with BNSF 4279-4293-6146 on the pull in the fog.
3. EB 949am autorack train with BNSF 6824-6996-8129 on the point in the fog.

Looks like you caught a dove sitting on the wire in the first photo.

Neat visual extremes in both weather and trains.  Almost all of the water reflection shots are between coupled units.

You did good on a not-so-good day...even got an NS...I almost went over to UP's Blue Mtns. yesterday but the weather prediction was too discouraging.
