Some Treats before Halloween

The Fall colors are fading fast here in the Upper Midwest, and so I headed out in search of a few trains and here are the results starting with a CP 813, UP 6960 a recent repaint leads the coal buckets across the Black River and in La Crosse (WI). BNSF train Q STPCHC, BNSF 5439 rolls past Onalaska (WI) and down the main for a crew change.

I took advantage of a crystal clear Sunday morning as I caught the CP 6260 resting after bringing CP H20 down from the Twin Cities. BNSF 2892 looked mighty fine as it and the BNSF 1428 waited for their next assignment in the BNSF yard.

With a few Work Windows still in affect, the traffic on the BNSF has been a bit slower but still I found the amply powered Grain empty, BNSF 6946 just south of La Crosse yesterday morning. Lastly with a train that pretty much matches the Fall colors, S TACCHC, BNSF 5190 departed La Crosse yesterday afternoon.

Does UP still classify the 6960 as an AC 6044 for the aborted 6000 HP conversion?
