Has 844 encountered some problems after leaving Memphis? Inquiring minds want to know what's going on? TO usually has reliable info. Thank you. L.B.
More than one person has said on another forum that 844 won't arrive at Kansas City Union Station until after dark on Thursday. Will be leaving there at 12:30p CT and arriving in KC at 8:15p.

Author: route56 The change in schedule for Thursday has been posted on UP's Facebook page and website. AFAICT, only Thursday's schedule has been changed. 844 leaves Coffeyville at 12:30 and arrive in Kansas City at 8:15.

Author: JoCoLB I imagine the delay in the departure from Coffeyville on Thursday is because of a MOW work window on the main line at Paola, Kan., where a derailment occurred on Oct. 16. It makes sense to delay 844 instead of interrupting the track repair work in the middle of the day.
