Western Railroad Discussion > Amtrak Cascades and the Seahawks CabbageDate: 10/27/16 10:52 Amtrak Cascades and the Seahawks Cabbage Author: Roadrailer This past weekend I headed to Portland/Vancouver, WA. After a stop at the local hobby shop where I met up with a few friends, which turned into a large gathering, it was onto the station to watch a few trains.
The typical set of local power was tied down consisting of an H1, BN green geeps and an ATSF blue/yellow SD. Next was the Coast Starlight with the 503 running 2nd. The MoW crews were out testing the Vancouver Swing bridge making several rotations. A SB Up intermodal pulled up to the station and waited their turn across the draw. 1) Finally the Northbound Cascades (504?) with the 468 and the Mt. Bachelor Talgo set arrived. 2) After the platform cleared and the NB puled away, the SB #513 pulled in. 3) NPCU 90250, the newly wrapped Seahawks unit Date: 10/27/16 10:53 Re: Amtrak Cascades and the Seahawks Cabbage Author: Roadrailer The following day while walking around Chehalis, WA, the #513 appeared with the fugly cab car on the point.
