Autos at Little Hell Canyon on the AZ Peavine

Auburn Ed and I headed for the Transcon Seligman Sub and the Peavine for some railfanning yesterday.

Phoenix bound Autos at Little Hell Canyon with the old Hwy 89 bridge in the foreground. From what I've been told here on TO it is probably symboled as the VCLOPHX. out of Clovis NM.

It seems like Little Hell Canyon should be called Heck Canyon.

You'd be surprised by how many auto trains UP and BNSF send to Pheonix.

I believe UP sends a daily (or near daily) AAMPX to their ramp in downtown Phoenix.

Friday there was an AEPPX from El Paso.
