On the Southside of Seattle

While watching trains around Boeing Field I caught this rather unusual model.

One of the better spots to get a train and plane in one photo, the cafe or parking lot at the Museum of Flight at Boeing Field. Also the observation deck at the Boeing visitor center at their plant in Everett, where you can get the plant switcher and a landing airliner.

Bzzzzzztttttttt!!!   Wrongo!!!    That's an Indian Navy P-8A.
There is NO orange in the Australian National Insignia, but there is on the Indian National Insignia.
You can see part of the insignia above the left engine.
And just about all Indian Navy fixed wing aircraft have ARK on their vertical stabilizers.

Is the P8 a military version of a Boeing 737?

Neat photo, BTW!

The Australian RAAF Roundel

https://www.airforce.gov.au/About-us/About-the-RAAF/Air-Force-Roundel/?RAAF-19j/ms/wfJI7szJiav0qS4757UzFI9b7

The roundel outer ring is blue.

Note the last paragraph - on an aircraft, the roo always faces the front of the aircraft

Actually, yes I can. Just like some people here can be "know it alls" on things like the UP Steam Program.

Regardless of the controversy, it is a great photo.  The P-8 program has turned out to be incredibly successful.

It's a hybrid. 737-700 fuselage with 737-900 wings. A lot of extra strengthing and extra corrosion protection to handle extensive low level flight over the ocean.

Aircraft is the replacement for the Lockheed P-3C Orion.
